Saturday, September 24, 2011 is Museum Day. In honor of this day, many museums around Tampa Bay, and across the country will be offering free admission. If you don’t have any plans for Saturday, this could be a great way to spend the day. You won’t be able to hop from museum to museum because it is limited to a pair of tickets for one museum per household, but, hey, it’s free, so stop your complaining!
Some of the museums participating include:
Tampa Bay History Center
Dali Museum
Tampa Museum of Art
The Pier Aquarium, and many, many, more…
To get your pair of free tickets, head over to SmithsonianMag.com, fill out your information and select the Museum of your choice. The tickets will be e-mailed to you and you can be on your way to expanding your horizons and exploring new Tampa places. Enjoy the day!
