Last Weekend, I went to a beautiful wedding at Tampa Bay Watch, a small place near Ft. Desoto in Tierra Verde. The ceremony gave us a beautiful view of the water and the reception allowed us to watch as the sun set over the Gulf.

I was in St. Pete on Saturday to move my daughter back into the dorm. It was quiet downtown, but I’m sure it didn’t stay that way for long, with the RNC events starting on Sunday.
This is the only RNC pic you’ll see from this girl. Thankfully, I don’t have to work in downtown Tampa, and I’m going nowhere near that mess! I’m grateful for any money it brings to local businesses, but it has made a mess of our traffic, and I’ll be glad when it’s gone!
A trip over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge gave me a chance to snap this shot of the yellow cables. I never tire of the beauty of this bridge and the view going over it. If you’re in the Tampa Bay area, make sure to take the trip south on I275 from St. Petersburg towards Bradenton. It’s worth the peaceful view of Tampa Bay.
